Is Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 a Kindle Fire Killer?

Samsung is on an absolute tear as of late, and shows no signs of slowing down. Leaked today from their official RSS feed, and quickly taken down thereafter, is the 7 inch screen toting, Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 packing, Galaxy Tab 2. While it’s not packing “to die for” specs like either the ASUS Transformer Prime 700T, or any of the quad core tablets set to come to market in the next few months, or even specs on par with ASUS 7 inch’ MeMo 370T, it still looks like it has the right components in place to satisfy consumers. Sony’s Tablet S – Review

Sony Tablet S

However, laptops can be cumbersome to carry around with you, often requiring a backpack full of peripherals to further weigh you down and [...]

Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab not getting ICS

Ics update samsung galaxy

Just recently, Samsung updated us on its Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update schedule and which devices are getting it and to our great disappointment the Samsung Galaxy S and the 7-inch original Galaxy Tab are not in there. The latest models of the company are, of course, getting the update: the Samsung Galaxy S II, S II LTE, Galaxy R, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. But that’s little consolation for those owning Samsung’s 2010 flagship or Samsung’s first tablet. Interestingly, the Nexus S, which is very similar to the Galaxy S, [...]
