HTC Edge

HTC Edge to be unveiled in February? HTC could be mere weeks away from unveiling the HTC Edge, along with other quad-core mobiles, according to a report from Digitimes. New Update brings Sense 3.0 UI to older HTC phones

HTC Desire HD and Desire S are receiving a new update by HTC in UK. Well, it is not an Android Ice Cream Sandwich update yet but the latest update brings the new version of HTC Sense UI. At the moment only unlocked versions of these smartphones are receiving the new update but we are sure that HTC will soon push the update to carrier branded phones as well. Also [...]

Volume spikes and other bizarre problems – which our own Damian McFerran warned “makes the phone almost unusable” – have taken some of the shine off what should have been the heralding [...]

We’ve seen a trend in 2011 that we didn’t really see in previous years: the “update phone”. HTC kicked off 2011 with a wide range of “S” models and we’ve had “plus” models from Motorola and Samsung. The pace of change sees Android manufacturers clamouring to update their hardware almost as soon as the phone hit the shelves. So where does that leave the Sensation XE? It isn’t a new phone, but is it any more than an incremental step-up? Does HTC’s Beats acquisition really bring anything to the table that we haven’t seen before in a smartphone? We’ve been [...]
